IN NX5, I AM GETTING AN ERROR MESSAGE WHEN TRYING TO ADD A CROSS HATCH AREA ON MY DRAWING. THE OUTER BOUNDARY OF THE CROSS HATCH IS CREATED ON THE DRAWING SHEET. THE INNER BOUNDARY IS A HOLE LOCATED ON ONE OF THE COMPONENTS. I'VE ATTACHED A FILE WITH THE ERROR MESSAGE SCREEN.

EWH - That solved my issue!! I went into FORMAT > VISIBLE IN VIEW > highlighted the sheet and made visible my current layer. Thanks for the quick response.

The drawing file I am using will not allow me to add dimensions to a view. I can pick the features, the dimension will show and when I pick the location to place the dimension, it disappears. When I go into EDIT > UNDO, it shows that a dimension was created, but I cannot find it. Another...
I am in drafting and need to add the symbol <S> for a material callout. When I view it on the print, it shows as the symbol for "regardless of feature size". How do you override the system to prevent an automatic symbol from being created in Text Input?

I am trying to find the function to revise the lengths of section lines in a view. Currently, the default length of the section lines are too long and extend into other views on my print. I need to shorten the section lines to be within the actual view.
