Hi, I'm not used to work with Abaqus on electrical issues. I try to put a current of 0.5A on a specimen. Current enters the top side of the specimen with 0.5A and leaves at the bottom side with -0.5A. Is this setting correct to simulate a current of 0.5A trough the specimen? The next question...

Hi I'm doing a electric current analyse on a spezimen. Therefore i'd like to insert a crack with a variable size into it. I'm working with Abaqus 6.9. Is there any option to insert cracks without using the extrude tool?? Greetz Karl
