I have an application where a spool is connected to a small dc motor. The spool must be able to freewheel when the motor is not on(i.e. to allow cable to run freely off the spool). When the motor is on, it shall engauge the spool and turn it in the opposite direction (i.e. rewind the cable)...
I require a dc motor type/design to turn one revolution at an speed and torque of a typical cordless drill. A 4 second pause is to occur between each revolution.
This would be a higher volume production product and low cost is essential. I it would probably need to be produced in Asia and cost...
