Perfect, thanks for the link. Let me bounce this off you folk and tell me if I'm on the correct path. In the equation Q/Qfull, the only varibale that is changing with y is theta (the angle), so in my spreadsheet I would have to set up a column to solve for theta for any given depth...
I'm trying to put in the numbers for the hydraulic elements table for a circular section into excel so I can use the look up function when doing my pipe sizing. I'm not sure what formulas to use so I can come up with the percentages for V/Vfull and Q/Qfull based on y/D.
the part of california that I'm working in doesn't have data. It's shaded in the light blue which mean Update in Progress. When I click on it the link I'm only able to download some PDF's that don't have IDF data. Am I missing something? Thanks
Does anyone know how I can obtain IDF data from CA Dept of Transportation or CA Dept of Water Resources. When you read chapter 800 of the Highway Design Manual it states that IDF data can be obtained from them but I can't find anything when I search the web or their respective web sites. Thanks
