Thank you everyone for your input!
xwheelguy - I have the Styled Corner feature as well, never really learned about it until now. Thank you! The only issue I found is I have to make a bunch of face blends and then trim and sew. Plus, specifying the start end % is different as each blend...
Hi John,
Yes, I've tried variable but it continues to a point until it gets too big and fails. I forgot to mention, the horizontal blend at the bottom is 15mm and the vertical that comes to the point is 10mm. The point naturally forms because the vertical is smaller than the horizontal.
Chris
I have a customer that insists on having the edge blend not come to a point. They've demonstrated how they would like it with their software (image on the left in grey). I can't figure out how to prevent the edge blend coming to a point (image on the right in blue). I really don't want to...
I've isolated it to not being able to pick points from "Entire Assembly" which is what I used to be able to do. Now, for picking multiple points, the targets have to be in the part you're performing the command in.
Is there a way in Pattern Geometry to select multiple target points without having to create a sketch? In the previous version using Instance Geometry, you could select target points anywhere you liked without the need for creating a planar sketch and placing points. Please tell me this...
Thanks John, that seems to help a bit with the combination of changing the colour of the points. It does however scale everything else up as well (datum, dimensions and constraints).
On a tangent, can I change the default colours so all points are a red, lines are green, dimensions cyan...
Is there any way to change the graphical display size of points within the sketcher? My points and contraints show up as the same size and I'm unable to quickly (visually) distinguish whether a constraint is on a point.
