Is there a reliable equation relating hardness to Young's modulus for polymers? I have a piece of polymer that would be hard for me to machine into a good tensile testing sample but it might be easy to perform a hardness test.

Thanks grimmy65. The sensitivity study works and shows the initial value is not the optimum. I still don't know why the optimization study is not working; I might just run many sensitivity studies to find the optimum.
