    Hair Pin Design

    I was wondering isf anyone knew how to determine the hairpin required length to be embedded in the slab. I have 15 kips. If I use 0.9 x .750(#6 bar) x 60 ksi = 37.8 kips. If I wish to determine how long I need the hairpin to penetrate into the slab.
