    Works perfectly. Thanks!

    lead_trail_zeros in drawing format

I'm trying to create a new drawing format in Wildfire 3.0 such that new drawings created using this format will have lead_trail_zeros set to both. I know how to set this in an individual drawing (File-->Properties-->Drawing Options), but the drawing options in a format file are limited and do...

    Equation Editor MIA

pro_editor_command isn't set at all. relation_file_editor was set to "protab" in config.sup I set relation_file_editor to "editor" and reloaded ProE and now it works (shows up in Notepad)! I thought I'd tried this before, but evidently I did something wrong. Thanks for your help. - Brian

    Drawing: Zero Dimension Showing Non-Zero

The change is happening regardless of whether I have the tolerance turned on. It's an asymmetric tolerance +0.75/-0.00. But even if the tolerances had eight decimal places, shouldn't the nominal then be 0 or 0.00000000?

    Drawing: Zero Dimension Showing Non-Zero

I have an assembly with two components. Each component has a datum plane which I'm using to assemble (mate: coincident), so the component faces are flush against each other. Now I'm working on the drawing for the assembly and I'm trying to add a dimension and tolerance for the gap between the...

Thanks, IRstuff. Just what I needed to know.

    IR transmissive with visible color

Re: MikeHalloran Very intersting. Unfortunately, the IR emitters will be relatively low-power and the plastic has to be relatively sturdy as it is part of a case which will get banged around a lot. Thanks for the idea, though. Re: Demon3 Thanks for responding. This may be a difference of...

    IR transmissive with visible color

Hi. Usually, when I see an IR-transmissive window on a plastic part, it looks black or darkly tinted. My understanding is that this is usually the result of adding certain dyes which absorb light in the visual spectrum but allow some infrared wavelengths to pass through. I was wondering if...
