I understand inlet line size & outlet line size govern by different factors like but usually outlet line size is greater...

As far as normal engineering practices valve should not put at inlet of PSV, but if it is required for maintnance purpose than put Locked open valve. now come to the question , as per my observation valve should have full port same as nominal dia of pipe.

Thanks chance17 for reply.........dear my PSV placed on heat exchanger discharge line so there is no internals ........but as you say one line size out of two exactly equal to the PSV size. kindly tell me there is any specific requirement to put such type pSV.

Hi all I have to check isometrics of CO2 removal section. during checking of aMDEA solution pump discharge line isometric , i found out a high point vent is provided. i little surprised to see the same . can be apply this normal practice in aMDEA solution too. please help me. thanks in advance
