I don't think I was clear. I am dimensioning in a drawing. It is actually an assembly, with two parts (we can imagine them as two half-rings, for simplicity's sake) coming together to form the circle I want to dimension. The two "rings" will be bolted together for boring. I'd really like to...
I am using Solidworks 2010 and am trying to dimension an inner diameter in a drawing. No matter what I do the dimension snaps to the middle of the circle. I want to move it off center (so that the value is not on the crosshairs) but I cannot. Anyone know of a way to get around this?
