hello,
i want to fix a part only in the + z direction (in Ansys Workbench 13) In reality a spring fixes this part, so it can't move in the + z direction. Is there a possiblity to define a spring from this part to the "ground" (which is not in my model)? Or is there any other possibility to...
hello everybody,

Hi,
I will model a laminate while using the Tsai Wu failure for my result output. I have entered all the necessary values of my laminate. Do I have to write any other data in the Nastran deck to get my solution? Which output file do i have to use?? op2 or xdb??
thanks in advance!!
Hello,
i run a linear static analysis with a large model. Output is an op2.file. Now, i can't open this file in patran. In the history it is said something with APP Interface..
I could be the reason for it. Not enough RAM of my PC? Normaly i can open the op2 files. But maybe the size of the...
hi,
i want to model a sandwich with shell elements for the facesheets and solid elements for the core. The facesheets and the core have the same mesh and i used the contraint equation to equivalence the nodes. My Question: Shell and solid elements have different degrees of freedom, shell 6...
