    I use V18 and , here there is nothing in manual about realconstant too, but in macro line r command works! Anyway,can I know what is your trouble with emodif,and what was your example? I wonder when this command is useful? Thanks Rick

    Thanks rickfischer51 Actually you are right about pre-processor tabs. But It is possible to add rc for shell181 by r command,I solved a thin plate by r command.My question is what is benefit of rc? Thanks for your attention rick.

    Hey Guys I am beginner in APDL. I want to use shell 181 to mesh a thin plate. what is different between real constant and section? Both have parameters for defining thickness and mass? so, which one I use ? what are differences? thanks in advance
