great points...especially the weight budget, and especially on a commercial workhorse like the 737...but a second AOA and associated harness...a guess 10 lbs?? Your thoughts?
Apparently, this is a point of contention...my 2 cents...it would seem that had the air framer performed or should have performed a DFMEA for this vintage plane, including the MCAS system/software...they would have at some point had to address the very real possibility of erroneous AOA input, or...

Can anyone enlighten(generally)me as to degree of difficulty and subject matter of the ASME Y14.5M - 1994 GD&T cert technologist exam??
