    Hi, can anyone help me on how to get the scale factor in the input response spectra? I'm new to dynamic analysis so I need some help. thanks.

    I could say that it's unrealistic like some column would require 200x900mm in dimension and like 10,000 sq.m area of reinforcement when all it's carrying are roof beams and clay roof tiles.

    Oh sorry never thought we only use the term in our place. What I mean about planted columns are columns supported by beams instead of foundations.
