    Thanks guys for all the replies. I guess for the time decision the wise decision is to avoid using the ERW pipes, probably not many purchasers are asking for them in the market and you may end up limiting your vendor list.

    MikeHalloran, Many thanks for your reply. So you beleive that it is the good old "Common Practice". The problem is that our client has a stock of ERW pipes that they want to use in their new platform and asked for a justification for not allowing their usage.
