Alloy 31 ASME SB 625 exposed to chloride at 20 ppm
I am planning to use Magna Flux visible color contrast Dye Penetrant SKL-WP2 to check welds in an absorber that has thin sheets of alloy 31 as a lining. The penetrant cleaner is water. My question is will the tap water with a chloride content of 20 ppm, adversly affect the alloy 31 when exposed...- AmPm
