Also I have looked at one or two flame sprays including tungsten carbide and the finish does not look like this one.As i said this finish looks very similar to galvanise and there is slight suface rippling and it has this embedded...

Does anyone know of a hard coating to apply to stainless steel which is wear resistant.This would be used to coat 360mm vanes which rotate on spinning discs at 700rpm which spread abrasive granules of fertiliser in agriculture
