Hi Friends,
I have a query. Is it possible to have the below properties in a Xm-19 Bar ?
YS ≥ 850 Mpa
TS ≥ 1000 Mpa
Kv ≥ 45 (196°C)
In case the bar is strain hardened, the required Kv properties would not be achievable ?
Thanks
Dear Friends,
As per ASTM A276, Could anyone advise what is the minimum Stress ratio for 316/L Cold Drawn Round Bars having tensile - 761 N/mm2 and yield 571 N/mm2.
Does ASTM A276 provide any tolerance in value for the Minimum Stress Ratio ?
Best Regards
Dear All,
Request to advise if AISI 329 or 1.4460 complies and can be certified as per NACE MR0175 or MR0103 Latest editions.
Please explain in details if possible.

Dear All,
Thanks for the information. The sizes in question are between 50 to 150 mm Dia . Upto 70 mm would be possible , but is there ant way to get the required yield strength for size between 75 to 150 mm Dia .

Dear Arunmrao / EDStainless,
Thanks for the replies.
Yes , I have done a search and the main difference mentioned is the temperature and holding period which is higher in sol. annealed . However I would request you to advise me a book or two which would provide me in-depth details regarding...
Dear friends ,
Kindly advise the difference between Annealing and Solution Annealing Process . How does it affect the hardness of the material ?
