    Thanks for your help akabarten. I have achieved this successfully with U and GETVRN, but I wondered if there was a way to achieve this using COORD instead of U? Any suggestions or advice on this? Thanks again.

    Any ideas anyone, I have tried doing this using different subroutines, printing nodal coordinates to the .dat file, but not sure how I can import these values into my subroutine this way.
