1/4" SA36 plate can be rolled for shell of tank

I have need a help,sir. we have a tank to build under ASME code, however the tank pressure is under 15psi. it will be have leak test at 10KPA/1.5psig. The question is the shell will be use SA36 rolled plate 1/4"THK. I read UCS79, but I am still not sure it is ok to use it.

If you are using the ASME code then the test pressure should be 1.3 not 1.5 UG-99 If this is a hydrostatic test. If you are doing a pneumatic test then it should be at 1.1 UG-100. I would not advise anyone to use the pneumatic test if it can be avoided because of the risk....I would suggest that get some more information and ask some other engineers that you work with… my suggestion to everyone is read the codes over and over if need be
