I'm designing some tooling to form 1/8" piano wire and need to know how much spring back to allow for. Surely someone out there knows the answer by heart.

There is no single value for springback, whether it is forming of wire or sheet or something else. It depends on the strains involved and the true stresses in the plastic region (above the yield point).
