Hi,

I have a problem with a program that should display a 1 dim array.

It is a for-loop with i from 1...x and every component gets the value of the acutal x.
But if x is larger than 9 (which would lead to a array with more than 9 components), then Mathcad 14 does not calculate the array.

I hope someone can tell me why this is happening??

There is a screenshot of my programm in the attachment, in case you did not understand the program from my description above ;-)

Thanks a lot,

Nicola

PS: I have been using Mathcad before and this programm has always been working. Recently, a have installed Mathcad new on Windows 7. Could that be the reason that Mathcad is not working properly?

I don't see a problem in mine. Mathcad changes the display from matrix to table at 10 elements, so there may be a problem with the table display, which, unfortunately, may require reinstallation. You might try to "Format Results" to display only matrix to see if that is indeed the problem.

Thanks a lot for the answer! I will try it with a reinstallation...

Thanks,
Nicola

Try format > results > display options > matrix.

If this works, you have the same problem as me. For some reason, the automatic and table options stop working. I have reported it to PTC. They have only been able to advise reinstallation which does work. However, the only downside is that Mathcad will flip back at a later date.
