Hi,

I'm beginner on pro/e and I have a major project. I need to make a big files (.txt) with a lot of parameter. Then I want to use these parameter for my assembly. But I don't want to load the files for each of my part; when I do regenerate, it ask me the name of my file, and it's repeated as many time as I have part in my assembly. Is there a way, first to say one time the name of my file and it remember and also that it work for all my part.

Thank you

You can do this with a layout but to use layouts you need the advanced assembly extension (AAX). Look at your license options to see if you have it (click HELP/TECHNICAL SUPPORT INFO).

There is a "advanced assembly set"..

How or where can I have explanation about how to use layouts.

Thanks
