I'm trying to insert from toolbox a #10 nut, and all of the selections of nuts start at 1/4. Am I doing something wrong, or do I need to change a toolbox setting somewhere?

You have to select Ansi Inch> Nuts> Machine Screw in order to get smaller than 1/4".
