10kV switchgear on 13MW induction motor (VSD Starter)

Any special requirement on 10kV switchgear which supply power to VSD 13MW 10kV induction motor. Need busbar protection, special protection, etc?

The supplier of the VSD should be able to specify this. I wouldn't rely on statements in an internet forum for this task..

Question is incomplete...Protection is completely depending on reliability and safety of the system. In order to design the protection, need to know down stream and upsteam network system, criticality of the supply etc., Moreover you may need to mitigate harmonics as well based on the type of VSD and source...
