I nave an electric motor I would like to change the wiring on. That is, from 230v to 115v. Following are the motor specs(from the plate on the motor). I am pretty sure it was on an A.C. unit blower fan. I plan on using it to power a "squirrel cage" type blower fan for a shop fan.

Any help you could give would be helpful.

Thank You.

Joe

Since the nameplate specifies 115/230V, there should be a wiring diagram on the nameplate to show the different connections for the different nameplate voltages. This usually requires changing winding connections from series for 230V to parallel for 115V.
Other than that, the manufacturer should be able to provide it.

You may find the diagram on the inside of the T-box cover if it's not on the nameplate
