I need to add 1738-AENTR ArmorPoint Ethernet module to Logix5000 system.
I have 1756-A13 backplane with 1756-L63 Controller and 1756-ENET/A Communication Interface.
I did download the Add-on profile and installed it, the message at the end said that everything is installed correctly.
However I still do not see the 1738-AENTR module in the New Device pop up window, what might be wrong?
How can I verify that the add-on profile was installed correctly?
I am using RSLogix 5000 Standard Edition, V18.02.00(CPR 9 SR 2).

add on profiles install, good
EDS files not installed? This will usually make it show a blank.
Sometimes even this wont fix it, since there might be a feature where you have to do it onsite to get that to show up. Got to love these features.

Are you looking in the right place?

Since it is an "on machine" block, it will not show as being part of any controller back plane, you would need to find it in the tree UNDER one of the other Ethernet modules by clicking on the + sign and expanding the tree below it. Did you put it under the wrong Ethernet module when you added it perhaps?
