18" Class 2500 flange

I got an easy question today from a sales guy, well thought it would be an easy question...
He asked me if there was any problem with designing a valve with an NPS 18 Class 2500 flange and my first reaction was that it would be a pretty badass flange but saw no real problem with it. Then I started looking through my B16.5 standard as saw that 2500 flanges only went up to NPS 12.
So my question to the wise people of this community is this; is there anothe ASME standard out there that has this type of flange or is a BWE the only way to go?

As far as I know, there is no such thing or standard for 18"-2500# flange. You better clarify with the sales guy. Maybe he meant 8" or 1500#

You might consider designing the valve with compact flanges. You'll be able to meet the size and pressure requirements and also dramatically reduce the weight and amount of material required.

Below, I'll past a link to a manufacturer that makes compact flanges. They have the SPO that is bolted and the Techlok which has a clam-shell connector like Grayloc. We used the Techlok type on a previous project in sizes up to 24" at 10,000 psig design. There are other vendors as well, this is just the one I have info on.
