I am reviewing a project that involves some open web floor trusses. This is a wood framed building. The floor trusses are 18" 'L' Truss Joists. I have span tables for the various open web trusses from trus-joist dated 1979. My guess is that the 'L' series became the 'TJL' series at a later date. Does anyone know where I could locate span tables for the 'L' series truss joists for a building designed in 1970?

The particular building I am looking at has 18" trusses at 16" o.c. with a span of 31'8".

They have sold the company (or split it off) to Redbuilt. Redbuilt is going to look into it when they have time, but they are unsure what information they will have or be able to locate.

I have some data on the TJL series, but it is dated 1999. Have you confirmed that the chord size and web size of your joist are the same as TJL?
