I 've just bought a 2.88 MB floppy drive to use with the 2.88 MB diskette. The name is TEAC FD-235J 2.88MB.
The computer did not recognize the drive.
Somebody from TEAC advised the following jumper settings:
A1-B1, A3-B3, B2-C2, B4-C4, D3-E3, E1-E2, AND E4-F4.
It did not work either. Any advice. Thanks.

(I disconnect the standard A drive to connect the 2.88Mb drive. Th green light is always ON, which means the power is connected but no control.)

My experience with floppy drives showing light always on is 'Wrong connection of cable. Just reverse your cable connection at floopy drive end or mother board end and try.
