hi There
we have a scenario to expand the current compressed air delivery ( flow)
what is the practical implications of running 2 rotary screw compressors in parallel?

Put a check valve on each one of them so it is possible to run them one at the time if needed. And/Or a manual shut off valve.
Make sure your piping system can handle the extra flow.

you may need a flow regulator at the end point also.
check your piping rating.

Two (equal) PD compressors in parallel will attempt to give you twice the air flow. HoWe've of your air system isn't uprated then it could require up to 4 times the pressure.

This may be higher than the compressor rating and lead to increased recycle.

Also you will have twice the heat load so your coolers may need uprating.

Is not as easy as it looks. ...

Thank You
air reticulation will be expanded accordingly
