2-imidazoline for CO2 and H2S removal in gas streams

This chemical 2 imidazoline has a high pKaH (similar to piperazine), high boiling point and is water soluble. Piperazine is currently used to enhance the overall absorption rate of the kinetically slower MDEA in activated MDEA solutions(originally patented by BASF).
Anyone come across the use of this chemical 2 imidazoline as a sorbent for H2S and / or CO2 ?
