2'' Pipe stilling well slot size

Hi Gents, we wish to install a 2'' Stilling well in our small Gasoline tank (internal floating roof)

Does any one know the slot size on the holes of the 2'' stilling well.

Why do you want a stilling well on a tank with an IFR?

Stilling wells are there to take out waves and surface reflections no?
