I am using wildfire 2 and I want to model a part in two positions, flat and curved ,so that when I send the model to my customer,he has a choice of opening the model in either position.Does anyone know what I have to do to get this done?Thank you

It is a plastic part.I want it to show two state;flat and flexed.

Familly tables...

Start with the flat part as the generic, then create a family table and apply the curve and switch it off in the instance.

Your customer can then open the single file and have either part open...or both...whatever!

Heckler asked you if it is a sheet metal because you can convert the part into a sheetmetal IF your part has the same thickness. Then you have the option to show as flat and flexed.

Hora is correct that is where my thought was going. I did a ring tong that way. I modeled flat and then added a bend.
