2002 Masonry Code question

Hi All.

I am about to buy a copy of the 2002 masonry code but I am curious to know why the ACI publication is almost 20 pages shorter than the ASCE publication. Does anyone know the difference between the two? I was under the impression that the two were identical, since it is a joist standard between those two and the Masonry Society.

Good question. You're right, they're suppossed to be identical. Could it be a question of font size, margins, size of figures and charts, layout?
