Two Problems:

1. When I create a viewport and begin to set-up my view if I return to paper space then re-enter model space it automatically zooms extents. Then I have to begin the dview and zooming process over. This was not happening last week.

2. My plot dialog box will not remember my previous paper size, even if I preview a plot then return to the dialog box it defaults to letter size.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks

Not sure if you tried AutoDesk or not, but here is the help forum for 2005:

1. No idea...

2. I know it sounds goofy, but have you tried doing a 'save as...' on your drawing and trying on the copy? For some reason ACAD was doing that for us with 2004, but we have yet to have any problems with it in 2005.

Hi,

1. sv _UCSFOLLOW to 0

and create a button for locking the viewports

Exxit,

Yes changing the UCS follow did fix the zoom problem, Thank you.

MarauderX,

Doing a “save as” does not help either. I did not have this problem in 2004 and it only started recently in 2005. I’ve got my manager working on it. Thank you

-> 2. Maybe it's better to work with "_pagesetup"?

No doesn't help. If I make a pageset-up It will retain the information, but if I do a plot preview, then exit to plot from the dialog box, it defaults to intial settings. If I plot from the preview with the left click then it works. I'll let you know if we figure it out here. Thanks

Sorry if this is an insult to intelligence, try clicking on the save changes box??
