260 Cartridge Brass - Hard vs Half Hard

My supplier is out of 260 Cartridge Brass - Hard Temper which is being used to manufacture flat washers. Can somebody advise me, if the half hard temper which is readily available be used as a replacement?

In order to get an intelligent answer to that question, you would have to describe the loads the washer is subject to.
a softer washer may or may not be adequate.

BE CAUTIOUS: bearing [crushing] strength of a washer is an important mechanical feature. IF understrength [low yield/crush], then joint will likely loosen in-service!
