28V Dc power output from 120 Vac, 3-phase, 400Hz

Need suggestions from members for a +28 V dc regulator (7amps out max) with 120VAC, 3-phase,400Hz input? Anyone done this before have suggestions how to best solve? no real limit on size of regulator. For helicopter service

Commercially available, off the shelf power supply should be availalbe. 400 hz might be a problem, so I would look at a switcher style, not a series pass. Many switchers, while made for 60Hz, will work on 400Hz. You will probably have to ask the mfr.

Or make your own full wave bridge to get to DC, then buy a DC-DC power supply off the shelf. Google DC-DC power supplies and you can get several hits.

Anytime you use 400Hz the price doubles or triples. Then again for aircraft service.

How critical is this? What is your budget? Nav instruments on the helicopter? Reading light? Can you use 24VDC? That might give you some more options, too. Weight is probably important, too.

I found several hits on Google. This should not be too hard.
