How to show 3D model view into a plane (2D)in model environment of UG Nx6?

You need to be more clear as to exactly what it is that you're attempting to do and perhaps even some explanation as to why since that may lead to a better solution that what it is that you appear to be having a problem with.

To an Engineer, the glass is twice as big as it needs to be.

He might be wanting to show a "flattened" view of the model - in which case the NX to 2D product would work fine or extracting all edges in the current view and then projecting to XY plane and trimming "hidden edges" if the 2D flattener isn't an option.
