I have a question. I’m using NX 5.04.1 with MP1 installed on a 64 bit platform with 8 gig of ram.
We just received a 2nd monitor and I have noticed that if you have a file open and you drag a session from one monitor to the other and you move it to fast you end up with a fatal error and are blown out of UG. Is there a setting I’ve not set some where? The speed you drag has to be fairly slow in order to avoid a fatal error is this normal?

I don't think so... I've a similar setup, and have never seen that problem.

I've found it only happens with assembly files but with single components it works fine. SO it seems to be related to file size. If I can't find what is causing this I guess I'm going to have to tell myself to go slow when switching monitors.

I've also encountered similar behavior. So I just don't do it! The NX modeling screen sits on my primary screen, and my navigators (undocked) sit on the secondary monitor. I do not "maximize" my NX session to span both monitors.

There is a setting (in Nvidia) configure independently (dualView)which I use so when you maximize it only maximize in the monitor it resides and not the other. I have done better at not moving from on monitor to the other at a slower pace. I was just curious to if I missed a setting.
