I am a beginner at abaqus and managed to create a truss with a modulus of 50MPa, Poisson’s ratio of .1, a length of 10, a cross sectional area of .1, and a load of 1000N.
But I need to make the truss with 4 nodes (one at the tip, 1 1/3 length in, one 2/3 length in and one at the other tip) and they have different young's modulus. Between node 1 and 2, young's modulus = 20MPa. Between node 2 and 3, young's modulus = 40MPa. Between node 3 and 4, young's modulus = 80 MPa. With the whole truss having young's modulus = 50MPa. Does anyone know how to do this?
