I need help making a circuit that uses a momentary footpedal switch that selects between 3 sources. Starting with 1 then 2 then 3 and back to 1 with indicator LED's. Each position will close two switches leaving the other positions dropped out. The switches or transistors that being closed by the selecting switch need to be able to handle up to 14V's and up to 10 amps at any given time. any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

How about Warpspeed's idea in thread248-133186 on the ' Electrical/Electronic engineering other topics' forum? Hook a magnet to the footpedal and slide it by as many reed switches as you like! If the reed switches can't handle 10 amps you might need to have them drive the base/gate of a transistor/fet switch.

I believe LINEMASTER makes a model that does this. The microswitches may not be able to handle this mush current, but you could add relays.
