3 stages propane refrigeration compressor

Hi all,

we have a typical 3 stages propane refrigeration loop. each stage has a suction KO drum. i'm straggling as to how to calculate the efficiency of this compressor. is each stage evaluating separately? what is the methodology to evaluate the polytropic efficiency?

An internet search will reveal a boat-load of information on this topic of compressor efficiency calculations, including multi-stage compressors. I'm sure you've done that google search already??
