I need to specify a material of 304 stainless steel or 316L stainless steel for some trays which will be washed in aqueous solution of
di sodium edta 5-10 % and
sodium tetra pyro-phosphate 1-5 %.

can I specify 304 or will this deteriorate?

All help gratefully received,

Provided you are not boiling your trays in that cocktail, 304 and/or 316L is fine. You did surprise me, I could swear that those two substances were medicines, not laundry detergents...Weird world!
cheers,
