316L in varrying pH

I wud like know about the resistence of SS 316l in dilute sulphuric acid(4%) & caustic soda(4%) service? I m talking about a waste whose Ph varies anywhere in between 1 to 14 where this material is going to be used. Temp & pressure conditions r ambient. Can anybody answer in detail plz.

I know that austenitic ss cannot withstand chlorides, so if its not HCl but H2SO4, will it be OK?

Sure, neither of these agaents are corrosive to 316.
