316SS Piping Vs Other Materials? 1

I have a vacuum pump system in a plastic extrusion application in which my customer would like the piping(1/2", 1" and 2") to be 316SS. However, all other components in the circuit are carbon steel and brass. I didn't think that this could be done?

Can someone direct me to a good reference source for proper piping techniques, specifcally piping dissimilar metals?

Thanks!

Most compounded plastics when extruded give off corrosive vapors. All our vent piping on our extruders are 316L SS and made as short as possible until they hit a scrubber. There is usually high moisture in the vent gas and which will condense, but I've never seen a problem with dissimilar metal corrosion at the extruder. Most our problems were with the vapors as the water condensed.
