Hi All,

I am trying to find a motor that has an output Torque of 360Nm. The motor would also have to be capable of operating at 150 degC (125 degC min).

The motor will (hopefully!) be part of a slickline downhole oil tool, and thus will need to be battery operated and needs to fit in a housing with an ID of approx. 3.15" (80 mm).

I am new to the subject of motors, so any advice or questions will be greatly appreciated.

Many Thanks

I think you can use....

Motor Full Load Torque = (Nameplate HP x 5520) / Nameplate RPM

1 ft-lb = 1.356 Joules (Nm)

That should tell you what size motor (in Hp) to get. As for temp..... I don't know. The mfg. should be able to tell you there.
