I am looking for a freeware/shareware program to convert 3D pro/E files to any 3D format that Autocad 14/2000 can read.

Free? Good luck. Have heard of a website that does translations and you can get so many for free, but...

Try the ProUser website and search their archives, you should find out the info on the translation website as well as some other inexpensive programs.

PTC offers a free Pro-E viewer called Pro-Desktop Express. It can convert .prt files into IGES as well as STEP format, which i guess AutoCAD would be able to import.
