Making a model in autocad 2000 drawing polylines and rectangles, extruding them, performing some subtract and union-actions. No problem. then when i'm ready modelling and saving to get into 3dsmax. I got a lot of errors opening the drawing. model operation unsuccesfull on the prompt. in the end i get a drawing with some modelling in tact and a lot not.
Need help, i reinstalled autocad and tried the files on another computer as well.

Did you get the errors opening the drawing up in 3ds max? What version of AutoCAD 2000 are you running? Have all Service Packs been installed? Is there a backup of your file still intack? (autosave)

No even opening the files in autocad 2000 itself doesn't work well. Parts of the model are just missing. I don't know which version i have. I do know that a model like that, quite simple, didn't give any problems in the past using the same software

In the past I have seen files go from AutoCAD to 3DS Max and have corrupted themselves during the attaching of the drawing. If you would like, send over your drawing and I can scan for potential errors and see exactly what caused your problem. email at todd@efilexchange.com
