Hello,

I am searching for 3d models of electrical boxes and light switches.

Anybody knows where it is available?
Any drawings out there that is available?

Thanks

Maybe check the web site of the manufacturer. Sometimes they have them.
McMaster-Carr also has many of the things that they sell thru their catalogue as 3-D models. Maybe go thru their on-line catalogue and sell if you can find something.

You might be able to find some models at 3dcontentcentral.com - they'll likely be solidworks models, but since you can open solidworks parts directly in NX6, you might be just fine...

I find that this is often a good place to start:

However, I can't help but ask, have you looked at our Routing modules? We have one for routing electrical conduit and it comes with a very comprehensive library of fittings and other items used to design conduit layouts and unlike the parts which you might find in a generic site like the one I referenced above, the NX included libraries are fully integrated and offer 'smart' capabilities when it comes to selecting and updating any routed design, be it piping, tubing, wire-harnessing, conduit, etc.
